Once you’re in the full swing of purging and are able to see more white space, you will really notice a sense of peace return. Your home will be less stressful, you’ll enjoy it more and that in turn, will carry over into your life outside. I found it easier to come with all my other issues knowing my house is tidy and clean and a calm sanctuary. I also knew the calmer I was, the more able I was to distinguish between minor irritations and things that really mattered.
Action : If something is bothering you, ask yourself, will it make a difference if I say something or will I make it worse and waste my time and energy? Learning to bite your tongue is hard but will save you a lot of unnecessary hassle.

Create The Perfect Space : Make Time For Yourself

When carving out space just for yourself, it doesn’t matter the size just make it functional for whatever project or hobbies you enjoy. Your personality is reflected in your home and your mindfulness hideout should be much the same. Take a moment to consider what you want out of this ‘spot’; are you looking for an oasis of calm, or somewhere to reflect on what you are grateful for? If you are looking for a relaxed hideout, stick with neutral tones and natural textures. If you are more of a maximalist, surround yourself with reminders of what matters to you. Remember to keep the colors harmonious and soothing, and don’t feel that need to imitate a ‘bohemian’ vibe.
Just be quiet. It’s a vibe! Try to create space for yourself, enjoy yourself you deserve it. At least take time out to get a massage, mani- pedi, something to force yourself to chill. Love you, be good to you, take care of yourself. Stay in Touch.
