WHY BUDGET

You don’t need to be good with money, you need a system that doesn’t freak out your nervous system. Steady progress is the flex. Budgeting gives money direction, not stress. It builds clarity, prevents surprises, and shows what not to do next paycheck. Control comes from knowing.

THE BREAKDOWN

These don’t change much month to month. They’re boring, but essential. They keep the lights on. 1. Rent 2. Utilities 3. Insurance (auto, home, life)

The rest of the list to include in budgeting: 1. Gas 2. Car cost 3. Groceries 4. Eating out 5. Entertainment (cutting all fun is how budgets fail. Joy is not optional. It’s preventative care) 6. Personal care 7. Clothing 8. Extra debt payments 9. Savings.

HOW SYSTEMS WORKS

Budgeting works because strategy beats impulse. Clear systems reduce anxiety and create stability. Slow, intentional growth wins. And hell yeah, just make more money is the fix, groceries are wild. The system? Stop fcking shopping. Resist the urge, you don’t need that shit anyways.

QUICK SUMMARY

Americans spent a total of $1.2-$1.3 trillion/yearly on restaurants and eating out. Average spending per American on food away from home $4,500/yearly (2023). Average U.S. household spent on dining out $3.900/yearly. Typical individual monthly spending $166-$191/monthly ($2,000-$2,300/yearly). Roughly 55-58% of food dollars are spent on food away from home. This is just food, not even shopping numbers. The fck.

ROOT CHAKRA

This year plan to be slow, strategic, and transformational, don’t rush things and be patient, your time is coming. If your root chakra is off, you’ll feel anxious, scattered, impulsive, or unsafe, mentally and financially. Look over your accounts often to catch any discrepancies, double charges, or disputes or services not rendered(some shit you were charged for, but never received).

CHAKRA STRUGGLE IS REAL

Signs your root chakra is struggling 1. Chronic anxiety or doom scrolling. 2. Money obsession or scarcity panic. 3. Feeling ungrounded/dissociated. 4. Tight hips, lower back pain, restless legs. 5. Overworking because “rest feels unsafe.”

HOW-TO FIX ROOT CHAKRA

Root chakra healing is boring but effective. What you need to do to actually help your root chakra. 1. Eat real food (regularly). 2. Sleep on a schedule. 3. Touch the ground (literally walk, stretch, stand barefoot) 4. Strength training/endless cardio. 5. Predictable routines. 6. Financial clarity (even just looking at the numbers) this chakra doesn’t want inspiration. It wants consistency.

BUDGETING 101

Start with a money check-in, not a budget. Before numbers, regulate. Sit down. Breathe. Remind yourself: looking at money doesn’t make it worse. Check your balance and last 30 days of spending once. No judging. No fixing yet. Awareness first = anxiety drops.

BUDGETING 101

Build safety before freedom. Start with survival not vibes. Cover essentials first: housing, food, utilities, transportation, minimum debt payments. The build a small buffer, even $500-$1,000. Stability comes from knowing one surprise won’t ruin you. Calm money decisions only happen when safety exists.

BUDGETING 101

Budget weekly, not ideally. Monthly budgets overwhelm the brain. Break spending into weekly limits so it feels manageable. Smaller numbers = less anxiety. Check in once a week, not daily. Consistency beats perfection. If it’s sustainable, you can actually stick to it, and that’s how stability forms.

BUDGETING 101

Automate and simplify everything. Automate bills (put that shit on auto-pay), savings, and debt payments so willpower isn’t required. Fewer decisions = fewer mistakes. Use one checking account, one savings goal, and clear categories. Money grows when it’s boring, predictable, and handled quietly in the background.
