The data confirms what we always knew, more than half of Black children now live with resident dads, the highest rate since 1976. When present, Black fathers are more engaged in daily childcare than white or Hispanic counterparts. Yet, father-absent Black families face a 2.5 times higher poverty rate. We salute you. KID-FRIENDLY BRUNCH FOR DAD
Strawberry Banana Mini Pancake Skewers
10 wooden skewers
Mini pancakes (Krusteaz)
3-6 ripe bananas (sliced)
Fresh strawberries (sliced)
Chocolate syrup
Optional: Make Dubai Chocolate: Add crushed pistachio dust
Start with pancake first, then layer strawberries, and bananas. Then drizzle with chocolate syrup. For more fun try the hard shell chocolate. Make it grand, add eggs, potatoes, meat/veggie options, orange juice and/or coffee.
