ARE YOU IRRESISTBLE?

Happy Friday! Looking for a partner? You may smell good, stay groomed, moisturized, fresh-cut, manicured, and a car. Cool, but do you have what it takes? I researched attraction, chemistry, and what makes someone irresistible. Your first look is your first taste. So, are you as attractive and tasty as you think? Do you know what it takes? Let’s dive in.

ANXIETY AND ATTRACTION

Anxiety can absolutely affect attraction and sexual chemistry, but it doesn't mean anxiety makes someone unattractive. When you're anxious, your brain may become focused on “Do they like me?” “Am I attractive enough?” “Did I say the wrong thing?” Instead of being present with the other person. You want to develop the ability to think: “I'm attracted to you, but I don't need you to validate me.”

COMMUNICATING CHEMISTRY

In order for chemistry to work we must follow rules. We want to keep a good distance to create room for eye contact, humor, flirting, curiosity and genuine connection instead of anxiety running the entire interaction. A man who is comfortable with himself, communicates clearly, and doesn't constantly need validation can create a sense of safety and intrigue. Confidence is different from arrogance.

2. Competence + purpose
Having direction, whether that's career, business, creativity, family, fitness, or another meaningful pursuit, can be attractive. It's less about how much money he has and more about whether he has a life he's actively building.

3. Chemistry + attention
Eye contact, humor, playful flirting, good conversation, physical attraction, and making her feel genuinely noticed can create that “something about him” feeling. And he smells good. And brushes his teeth.

1. Physical attraction + femininity
Appearance, grooming, style, scent, facial expressions, voice, and mannerisms can contribute to initial attraction. What counts as attractive varies enormously between men.

A woman who seems comfortable with herself, has a positive presence, laughs, communicates openly, and isn't afraid to be herself can be very appealing.
