MOTIVATION

Happy Friday! Don’t let anxiety beat your ass today. Ever notice how your coach or somebody you love can call you a “big dummy” and it motivates you, but somebody else says it, and now you crashing out. That’s because it’s not just what people say, it’s how they say it. Respect, love, and intention hit different. Some days, you gotta motivate yourself and keep going anyway. Nobody is coming to save you. It’s all up to you. Stay solid, speak kindly, and have compassion. Use honey to catch a bee, not vinegar.

3 THINGS ABOUT MOTIVATION

Motivation isn’t fcking magic, it’s the voice inside you deciding not to quit when life gets heavy. The people who change their lives aren’t fearless; they just keep moving, even when their mind tries convincing them not to. People (We) are motivated by three things:
  • Purpose

  • Reward

  • Fear or Pain

PURPOSE REWARD FEAR

Let me explain very simply. In order to get people to move or get that fire under their ass, is how you choose to say what is needed. You have to say the right words. We all need these three reasons to make some shit go, we all need this for motivation:
1. Purpose. People need to feel like what they’re doing actually matters. Humans can survive exhaustion longer than emptiness. When you have meaning, you push harder, even when life gets messy.
 2. Reward. Money, success, praise, comfort, freedom, people move toward what feels good or valuable. Your brain literally releases dopamine when it expects a reward. We’re all tiny achievement goblins.
3. Fear or Pain. Let’s be real, fck the pain: Sometimes people change because staying the same hurts more. Fear of failure, struggle, rejection, or wasting life can push people into action fast. Pain motivates people way more than inspirational quotes ever will.
MOTIVATING OTHERS
And another thing, let me get a bit deeper, some shit is common sense and some shit needs to be explained more in depth to some, more than others. But keep this in the back of your mind when moving forward. There is also 3 ways to be the person who actually motivates others, here’s what you need to do:
  • Live what you say

  • Make people feel seen

  • Bring calm energy, not chaos

HOW-TO GUIDE
This is not clown shit, you have to have something about you for people to relate too, and give people hope, and they need to see you living the life. They want proof, they want to see the house, the car, you gotta show them the money in order to believe you or that all this shit is possible, but YOU gotta make it happen. Nobody is gonna help you. Here’s what you need to do to motivate others:
1. Live what you say. Nobody listens to someone preaching discipline while falling apart every day. People are motivated by proof, not speeches. Your consistency, honesty, and effort inspire harder than fake perfection ever will.
2. Make people feel seen. Encouragement hits different when it feels real. Listen, notice effort, and remind people they’re capable when they forget. Most people are silently fighting themselves, you never know how far one genuine sentence can carry someone.
3. Bring calm energy, not chaos. People naturally gravitate toward someone who stays grounded under pressure. Don’t spread panic everywhere. Be the person who says, “we’ll figure it out.” Calm confidence motivates people because it makes hard things feel survivable.
