HAPPY NEW YEAR

Happy New Year! It’s FckThat Friday! This is not a loud year. It’s not hustle-or-die. It’s a year that rewards people who move smart, not fast. Specifically 2026 is a Fire Snake year, which adds intensity, confidence, and courage to the Snake’s natural calm. Don’t be scared, it’s time to invest in yourself. Move like a snake, very quiet. Snap out of it. Don’t worry so much, you got it. Use your fcking brain this year. In other words, stop fcking around, and get your shit together to be the dopest you and get to the money. You’re welcome.

YEAR OF THE SNAKE

The Year of the Snake is slow, strategic, and transformational. January sets the foundation. If your root chakra is off, you’ll feel anxious, scattered, impulsive, or unsafe, mentally and financially. Snake energy demands stability before movement.

SHED YOUR OLD SKIN

Okay, so it’s the Year of the Snake, but what does it actually fcking mean? It means know your worth. Don’t rush. Strike when it’s right. Fck that. Quiet power wins this year, every time. 2026 doesn’t care how loud you are. It cares how aligned you are. Shed the old skin. Move with intention. Strike only when it’s time. This is the year for:

  • Strategic reinvention

  • Quiet but bold moves

  • Passion with restraint

  • Power without chaos

THE DO’S

The Snake represents wisdom, strategy, intuition, and transformation. The Year of the Snake comes around every 12 years in the Chinese zodiac cycle. Snake years repeat on a steady rhythm. To move through this year smoothly here’s what you need to do: 1. Plan before acting. 2. Trust your intuition. 3. Invest in skills, not attention. 4. Protect your energy aggressively.

THE DON’TS

This is a recalibration year, not a sprint. If you’re rethinking your career, redefining relationships, resetting money habits, building a new identity, you’re aligned as hell with the energy. Snake years are about becoming, not performing. Snake years punish shortcuts and rewards patience. Don’t Bubba Gump (talk too much), be quiet and mind your Black Owned business. Follow this list of what not to do. Do not:1. Overshare plans. 2. Make impulsive decisions. 3. Force timelines. 4. Stay in situations you’ve outgrown.

WHEN ANXIETY MEETS GRIEF

When anxiety and grief collide, your nervous system goes into overdrive. Loss shatters your sense of safety, so your brain stays on high alert, scanning for more danger. Anxiety amplifies grief; grief deepens anxiety. You may feel panic, numbness, guilt, brain fog, or physical symptoms.

This isn’t you “failing to cope.” It’s your body trying to survive heartbreak. Grief removes the person who regulated you emotionally, so your system struggles to self-soothe. Healing means allowing both emotions without rushing them, grounding your body, and rebuilding safety slowly. You don’t get over grief, you learn to carry it with more steadiness.

TOXIC BEHAVIOR

You could possibly be in a toxic relationship and not know it. It’s not just domestic or between a male and female. It can be anybody and any relationship. Toxic relationships are connections that drain you instead of supporting you. They’re marked by manipulation, constant criticism, control, disrespect, guilt, emotional volatility, or making you feel anxious, small, or confused. The key sign? You feel worse abut yourself because of the relationship, not despite it.

Getting away from toxicity matters because chronic emotional stress requires your nervous system. It increases anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and even physical health issues. Peace isn’t selfish, it’s protective. You can’t heal, grow, or feel safe while constantly managing someone else’s chaos. Leaving toxicity is choosing stability over survival mode.
